Bently Nevada is a global leader in industrial asset condition monitoring and protection, specializing in vibration, pressure, and speed measurement solutions for critical machinery. Founded in 1956 by Don E. Bently, the company pioneered eddy-current proximity probes, revolutionizing rotor dynamics monitoring. Acquired by GE in 2002, Bently Nevada operates in over 50 countries, serving industries such as oil & gas, power generation, and mining. Its product portfolio includes sensors, monitoring systems like the 3500 Series, diagnostic instruments, and predictive maintenance software such as System 1. With over 25,000 customers worldwide, the company combines more than 60 years of expertise with cloud-connected solutions to enhance asset reliability and operational safety.
The Bently Nevada 3500/61-133819-02 is a high-precision temperature monitoring module designed for industrial applications requiring reliable and continuous temperature measurement. It features six temperature monitoring channels, supporting inputs from Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs) and Thermocouples (TCs). The module conditions these inputs and compares them against user-programmable alarm setpoints, ensuring accurate and real-time temperature tracking. It is compatible with the 3500 rack configuration software, allowing flexible customization for different measurement needs. The 3500/61 variant includes recorder outputs for all six channels, distinguishing it from the 3500/60 model. Designed for Triple Modular Redundancy (TMR) configurations, it enhances system reliability by preventing single-point failures in critical machinery protection systems.
This module is widely used in industries such as power generation, oil & gas, and manufacturing, where precise temperature monitoring is essential for equipment safety and efficiency. It operates within a temperature range of -30°C to +65°C (-22°F to +150°F) and consumes 9 watts of power. The non-isolated I/O version (133819-02) provides robust performance while maintaining compatibility with the Bently Nevada 3500 monitoring system, ensuring seamless integration into existing setups. Its channel-to-channel isolation (250V DC in TC-isolated versions) minimizes external interference, making it suitable for harsh industrial environments.
