The Bently 24701-28-10-00-025-01-02 is a stainless steel proximity probe housing assembly designed for external installation of eddy current probes in industrial machinery monitoring systems. This robust housing is certified by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) for explosion-proof applications in hazardous areas and complies with the API 670 standard for externally mounted proximity probe housings. It features a threaded dome cover, adjustable probe sleeve length, and optional conduit fittings, allowing for secure and flexible installation in environments where vibration and harsh conditions are concerns.
The 24701 series is particularly suited for intrinsically safe applications, offering CSA Type 4 certification for enhanced environmental resistance. Its design enables easy access to the probe and extension cable for adjustments or replacements without requiring machine disassembly.
